A recent poll shows the difference between perceptions of violence, prejudice and discriminatioin based on race and points out America is more segregated than in the late 19960s, before bussing in schools. People who live in mixed race neighborhoods are less prejudiced than those surrounded by only people of their own race.

Cleveland has a quilt of neighborhoods–but they are becoming more and more narrow. Open the debate on the name and logo Mr Mayor Jackson, Council President Kelley and all of City council–increase ¬†understanding and educate an entire new generation in accurate history and real understanding.

MLB, it is time to change up the team lineup. Together we all can make this happen.
